Waimea Canyon & Wailua River Tour
This Polynesian adventure tour is a day filled with the beauty and legends that make up the Garden Islandof Kauai.
Via bus, you will tour the Hanapepe Lookout, Waimea Canyon, Spouting Horn, cruise the Poipu resort area, Nawiliwili Harbor and view the Koloa Sugar Mill. After lunch, you will hop onto a boat to cruise up the Wailua River. You will visit the famous Fern Grotto and see Opaekaa Falls.
Waimea Canyon is the largest canyon in the Pacific and a dramatic sight to behold. It measures 10 miles long, 1 mile wide, and 3,500-feet deep. Even though it is smaller than the Grand Canyon, Waimea Canyon is its equal in beauty.
Wailua River is a long meadering water trail that starts at the Wai'ale'ale Crater and ends up in the great Pacific ocean. Several forks in the river lead to waterfalls and can be easily explored by kayak.
