This excursion takes you as close to the recent lava flows from the Big Island's active volcano, Kilauea, as allowed by Civil Defense and local authorities. Escorted by trained guides, guests may be able to go to the edge of a 2,000 degree F. molten lava flow.

Includes a drive through Hilo Town and up to the Volcanoes National Park featuring the Volcano Observatory, Jagger Museum, Crater Drive, Thurston Lava Tube, Volcano House and Kilauaea Iki Crater.Includes a

Tour lasts approximately 9 hours with pick-up at 8:30 - 9:15am
from Hilo area hotels and airport.

Please note that this tour stops for lunch but the cost of the lunch is not included in the tour. Sturdy, covered walking shoes are required!
