The tour lasts approx. 11 hours with pick up at your hotel in a 12 passenger van. Tour includes eastern Maui coastline, numerous waterfalls, tropical rain forests, Wailua Falls, Paia Town, Kaumahina State Park, Keanae Lookout, Wainapapana State Park, caves and a black sand beach, Hana Town, Hana Bay, Kauwiki Hill, Ohe'o Stream-Seven Pools, Kipahulu, Wailua Lookout, windsurfing beaches and Hana ranch lands.
This is the "Road to Hana" tour and gets exciting when navigating the one lane highway with traffic coming in the opposing direction. The little hamlet of Hana is a rather quiet, sleepy town. It is the road to Hana itself that is the real attraction. This circuitous, 55-mile road literally carved in the side of the Island of Maui offers some of the world’s most breathtaking ocean-front scenery.
Our driver, GiGi, was a long time driving veteran who shared the history and stories of the land. Lots of scenic stops and stretch breaks. Sack lunch is included. This is a must do!
